  1. Hi, I have at last found a good solid 635 csi. It is an 1986, two owner car and has chrome wheel arch covers which were on when the 2nd owner purchased the car back in 92. My question is are they an aftermarket fitting or could these have been on from new as a factory fit option. They are perfect fit to the car which makes me think they are a BMW part. I don't personally like them but am quite keen to keep the car to original factory spec. It also has the original cross spoke alloys which I believe take a metric tyre? Whilst I am keen on originality I would like to store these wheels and run the car on Alpina's, they just make the car look so much better (in my eyes). Can anyone advise on what size wheels and tyres I should be looking for?
