  1. Just tried to jumpstart which I have done many times before but its just not wanting to start, the power that was left (in the steering wheel column/lights etc) is slowly going. Now I'm thinking its not the battery and something else, any ideas?
  2. All was well with the X5 after they replaced the battery but now 5 months on and the cars failing to start again (seems not to start everytime it comes back from the garage). They wouldn't reconnect the radio as they said it was too dangerous lifting the LPG tank again.
  3. This is a strange one, last week my bmw x5 2002 went into the garage to have a door handle fixed and MOT, after they had done with it I drove it 300 meters back home, the next day the car would not start and had to be jump started. I left it to sit a day or so as to test the battery and it started no problem, I presumed maybe they left something on. I don't drive as much as I used to and it sits on my driveway a lot, anyway I took it to the garage yesterday to get the FSU replaced.. they couldn't do it so I drove it again 300 meters back home. This morning I reversed the car to the bottom of the drive (started fine) so I could get my kids in then went back out 10 mins later and it wouldn't start, just clicked. The mirrors and steering column seem to still be moving as usual, I know usually they tend to eventually stop after trying to start it so many times. I did accidentally press buttons on the fob while turning the key, would this have disabled the car from starting or damaged it? Thanks for any help or info
  4. The guy who had it before us pimped it up a little with xenon lights and a bodykit
  5. You could be right, the headlights have been changed and so has the front bumper and theres no washers there.. I guess perhaps thats what the pipe is from, ill seal it off.
  6. Thanks for replys we tried charging battery from bonnet hook ups but it didnt work for some reason, in the end we crawled through to the boot lifted the lpg tank and placed the new battery under, was harder than child birth! I stressed out and gave in and the local garage came to take it away, they managed to get the back door open and had the equiptment needed, they forgot to hook up the radio cable though :(
  7. Mine does the same.. its just the connections in the wires at the back give them a wiggle
  8. Hey there, basically theres a hose coming from my washer fluid tank that has been cut, the front washers work fine but when I spray water onto my screen its also coming out of the cut hose under the bonnet and !Removed! all over the street. I think its possibly the hose for the back wiper as this has been removed by someone before we brought the car. Just a bit worried about the electrical wires near the valve. Am I able to seal the hose or will this cause more problems, just thinking if sealing it may effect pumps or pressure..
