    Hi I have an 02 sport z3 and mine whines as well but usually with a side wind as well.it happens with the roof down and i cant find the problem. It sounds like the aircon heat reflector shields or some thin metal plate oscillating at high speed..It would be interesting to know if a car without aircon does it???
