This might be a daft question but is this release box glaringly obvious?

Unfortunately I haven't got the satnav, i have the business single cd player. And I haven't got the button or relase box for a phone. The only voice button is on the steering wheel. I will try that when i get into the car later see if anything flashes up, Thanks greydog

i want to change from my halogen bulbs to xenon lights? anyone done this? What is the best products to buy and how easy is it? i also want to upgrade my angel eyes from yellowish to the xenon white colour. again what is the best product to buy? and has anyone done this? i have an e53 2006 x5 3.0d thanks

hello again, my X5 has all the buttons on the steering wheel and radio display face, and the mic in the overhead panel where the lights are. but i cant find let alone connect my iphone 5 via bluetooth? so will my car have this function or is it just not working? how can i check if it has bluetooth built in? When i bought the car it didn't come with a bluetooth handbook. given that the car is 9 years old i guessed that the handbook had been lost along the line somewhere if it doesnt have the bluetooth function, can i retrofit a bluetooth module? thanks

wonder if anyone can help me. i am wanting to retro fit an auxiliary 3.5mm jack point in my e53 3.0d 2006 x5. has anyone ever done this? if so, can anyone tell me how to do it? and what correct parts to buy, (part numbers if possible) thanks

i've just bought an e53 x5 3.0d and was wondering why i cant pair or even find the cars bluetooth. could it even be fitted? are all e53 3.0d fitted with a bluetooth function? how did you get yours to work lee? i also have an iphone 5

just recently bought my 2006 x5 which i am very happy with. However it hasnt got an auxiliary 3.5mm jack lead point to plug my ipod/iphone into! never used cd's in years so this little mod con is a must for me. I have a business single cd player already fitted. my questions are; 1. can i retro fit an aux cable into the already fitted entertainment unit? 2. has anyone got a link referring to which equipment to buy? 3. is there any how to guides on installing this equipment or has anyone done it before? I also love the BMW's 'angel eyes', but mines are the older yellowish style glare i would like to upgrade to the more modern, white-ish bluey glare. Ive already had a quick look and it looks easy enough i am just unsure of which new kit to buy as there is lots of options from very cheap to quite pricey. Has anyone else ever done this and can point me in the right direction. Hope to hear from someone soon. Thankyou
