Probably a bit late, but removal is not a good idea

MOT failure if found that the dpf is missing or tampered with.

Hi,
Bluetooth is an option so you may not have it. You may have the phone button on the steering wheel but not Bluetooth.
-
DPF Removal is now an MOT failure and an offence.

Internet search on google - after my insurer requesting that I join the club .
Thanks, Roger
I'm interested why your insurer requested you join.

Hi all, I have just bought my first BMW, pick it up at the weekend. 2008 318i SE. 60000 on the clock.
I have changed from a Volvo S60 D5 as living where I do the DPF issues are not practical, most of my driving is in town and the nearest fast road for filter regeneration is at least 20 minutes drive away.
Anyway, having read all the reviews etc I hope I have made the right choice of car.
My interests are Music, (listening and playing), watching sport, fishing and astrophotography and sitting with a cold beer chatting about any of them.
