Hi my car is 2014 335I Tourer and during recent trip to spain developed an annoying noise. Took a look underneath car this morning and discovered a small box ahead of the rear axle (when viewed from rear of car). it seems to be held in place by a single nut but with specialised head ie my spanners/sockets will not fit. It is very loose so I suspect that this is what is making the annoying noise So, what the hell is it and should it be loosely mounted??

BMW are an excellent company! just heard from them that they propse to supply new gear box at no charge, I just pay fitting and oil Gold star for BMW

The synchro for 2nd gear on my 135m is not working properly so I now have metal bits floating around in the gear oil! car has done 67,000 miles Garage tell me only solution is a new gearbox. for only 3,700.00 Anyone else had similar problems or is mine just a one off??

as new was supplied with non runflats

Time for new tyres on my mini cooper. Definately not runflats and probably not pirellies as the current ones are useless. Any reccomendations??

just taken delivery of new car M135i and very pleased with it Handbook tells me where all the fuses are but not what they are for (lights, wipers,radio etc) does anyone know where I can get this info from?? and ideally where I can get a copy of the wiring diagram
