Thanks for the input, I was looking at the e39 530 d but I've heard some horrible stories about engine problems, if it wasn't for that I'd go for a diesel mate.

Hi all, I'm kinda new to this and I'm hoping that you can help me put this little dilemma to bed. I've just sold my 1995 m3 convertible and I've been looking at the 5 series, but can't make my mind up, e60 or e39 530i sport, any help would be truly appreciated.
