BMW sent 28 Saloon E30 318is over to Baur for convertible conversion. These were special orders from customers I think but that's all I know! They were also some of the last ever BMW formal Baur conversions before they relied purely on their own, manufactured convertibles! If anyone has any ideas where I could get some more information, i would really appreciate it!? Grateful for the interest and your time........B

Hi - I have a pair of E30 318is TC Baur convertibles [one I bought virtually new early 90's and one I inherited] that have been in storage for years. I didn't realise these were quite as rare as they appear to be but I can't find much information on them at all.......Does anyone have anything interesting!?! The cars are great...both have been regularly serviced and run whilst in storage and both haven't missed a beat!! Superb cars! Quick pic included if anyone's interested!
