Dear all newbee looking for advice. I recently purchased an E46 320i 2.2 M sport in silver on a 05 plate nice car. When inspecting the car before I bought it i only checked the trad on the tyres and not make or size although the tread was very good so never gave it much thought. The car has a steering issue and I am in the process of eliminating the problem.on inspecting the tyres I have noticed alarming issues. The front tyres are FALKEN & PIRELLI 225 x 40 x 18,,,,,, the back tyres are BRIDGESTONE 255 x35 x 18 this is a run flat tyre ,,,, the other tyre is a Chinese make 255 x 35 x 18 a non run flat. I want to change all 4 ASAP but I don't want to waste £££ and would like some advice as to what size for the rear and which make of tyre.
Many thanks for any help in this issue.

Hi all , new member looking for advice.
I have recently purchased an e46 3 series M sport tourer 320i 2.2 petrol.in my haste to acquire the car ( inpatient ) I only checked the tread on the tyres and not the make is size. There is an issue with the steering so I have I had the car checked out at my local tyre fitting garage. The car has 4 different makes of tyres . The 2 on the front are FALKEN & PIRELLI 225 x 40 x 18 , the back 2 are Bridgestone (run flat) 255 x 35 x 18 and somewhere from china 255 x 35 x 18 (not a run flat ). There is some confusion as to the correct sizes for the back tyres at the tyre fitters :-( also I don't want to waste my hard earned £££ and purchase the in correct tyres. Can anybody please advise accordingly as I want to change these awful tyres ASAP.
Many thanks and it's great to be a BMW owner again

I tried that with black circle tyres but that wasn't much help.
New tyres are ordered and will be getting fitted this week.
