  1. If I remember rite turn ignion on just so the dash lights up then turn it off take key out press and hold alarm button and press BMW button 3 time the doors will lock if it works but as soon as you take the key out you have 30 second to press buttons don't worry you can't do it any harm just do I all in one swoop turn on turn off pull out press and hold while pressing BMW 3 times job done . good luck
  2. There is a clip on YouTube on reprogramming your key if it just a battery change worth trying first mine didn't work but still glad I tried
  3. £185 + vat from BMW but their is a website that will come to you cheaper
  4. I been told that the keys battery was dead and the key decoded it self tried recoding the key but wouldn't accept the full code so had to get new key.
  5. Hi got a 525d it run and drive nice come to start next day no crank start no start I checked all fuses even the ones on the floor all good plugged it in wouldn't connect all the light come on the dash but when I got it the key fob didn't work so changed the battery and you have to lock it with the door lock button in the car which don't lock drivers door have to lock it with key I only got 1 key it seems like immobiliser problem if any one could help?
