its good you re asking and not rushing in to it. a lot of people vision a new car on the drive.
If you are thinking of getting a new car then paying the balloon off and selling the car privately will save you money, you can repay the money used to pay off the baloon so you can then buy a new car with a bigger deposit and pay the new insurance etc.
Also, don't buy new, 2021 /2022 means you may only pay the 620 for around one year then comes down to 195 after that..
every time i have bought new i have lost 10-20k, so just buy a nice used car with low miles.
The above is not financial advice, just something i would do. 😉

history and good old gut feeling. Condition and loads of history with money no object kind of ownership.
What i do with cars with expensive parts is i build up a car slush fund, over time you can dip in to the slush fund to maintain it. Build up the car slush fund to a level that if anything bad happens u can cover a big chunk of it. Like a personal warranty where the money is in your bank and not a warranty / dealers bank account.-

i was gonna suggest the brakes.. usual way of testing is to spit on the disks (gross i know) to see which one is the hottest, or simply feel the temprature rise off the wheel.
second suggestion was check tyre for bulge, but its not that ;)

I would consider looking for a transmission specialist or BMW specialist. Maybe aviod dealers at the moment. Get a diagnoses.
Maybe it's a simple transmission fluid change and a ECU reset.
I would not drive it about too much until you have had a specialist take a proper look.

these are screen printed on clear vinyl. They were made for ease of application and as they are outside stick can be applied to window or bodywork.
We used to have vinyl stickers like you are talking about but they go bad after so many months and so when we send them they are hard to apply.
On my next order of cut vinyls I will have some club stickers made and let you know.
