hope someone can help i have a couple of questions regarding my 2001 bmw x5.

when i bought the x5 the driver door lock barrel was missing so i have to lock it by the key. does anyone know what part i need or part number for the complete driver lock assembly and is it easy to fit?

my 2nd question is as i cant manualy open the car, my car battery has gone completly flat sat in snow. so i can not open my x5. i need to try and find a posstive connection someware underneith the car so i can jump the car as i cant get inside to open bonnet or boot to access battery. does anyone know a easy point i can connect to a posstive?

the earth connection is ok as i can connect to chassis.

hope someone can please advize.
