I bought my 316i coupe last week nd it came with a stupid small k&n cone on it, so today I took it off to fit a standard airbox nd noticed that something behind it wasn't attached to anything? I dnt knw what it is? Its attachd to the afm nd other things and has a blue pipe coming off the end... The bracket has snapped nd nw am worrying. It has bmw 1 180 886 ak9/1 on it if this helps? Cheers guys if anyone could tel me what it is?

    This is it been held up by a bit of copper tubing, ive now screwed it into the arch? its the only thing i could think of doing...

    If it is what I think it is then Im sure itll be fine put back in place,IMO its nothing major anyway,just collects excess fuel vapour and puts it back into the system instead of wasting it.it should have 2 hoses attached to the top of it.
