hi guys i've just bought a e36 318 and was wondering if there are any cheap and easy power boosts i can give it

Theres not much you can do i found to a 318 without spending a load of cash..

I had a 318is as my first car at 17 so i did as much as i could on a budget.

Simple things like:

A good full service...

Induction Kit

A big bore throttle body

I had a 4-2-1 exhaust manifold with a Decat and Sebring exhaust ( made such a difference )

And a remap. All in all i probably gained an extra 30-40hp. But it did sound atleast like an M3 - in my opinion, better!

But make sure u do the remap last!

On the more expensive side - i ended up uprating both cams but that was only because i did it myself ( lost it in the snow a month later )

And one thing i wanted to do was a Downing Atlanta Supercharger. But these are worth more than the car.. For the same money you could just buy a 328 - which i did =p

hey guys thanks for all your messages ive been lookin into a few things its a beautiful car to drive its a 318is with full M3 bodykit im buying some 18" M3 wheels at the weekend as well so cant wait for that lol but am i right in thinkin that the 18" M3 wheels wont be genuine M3 wheels as i was told they never made 18" onlt 17"&19"
