ive cut away the plastic cowl to revel the drivers side catch ,is there a lever or something on the back of the catch to pull or push to release the bonnet?

when you pull the bonnet lever can you see the cable attached to it?or in other words do you think the cable has stretched or snapped?

can you get some pliers in there and give it a right good pull whilst someone else wiggles the bonnet?

yes mate.get the pliers on it and yank the hell out of it.haha.it should open then surely?

I think the short piggy-back cable that runs from near-side latch to off-side is at fault... I the lever feels ok from inside car then it's only releasing the near-side but off-side remains locked !!

yippee got the bugger open :) after managing to get the plastic cover off the back of the latch and getting to the lever on the back of the latch, she opened .what had happened is the cable had come out of the bracket that sits on the nipple on the back of the latch and also the bracket that holds the cable had come off the nipple

Do I win?

glad you got it sorted mate......i was running out of ideas.haha
