Im looking into possibilty of running my 3 series coupe with a t5 engine from the volvo 850 t5.My first hurdle is knowing what gearbox the p reg coupe uses and is it hydrolic or cable? secondly is the speedo in the gearbox electronic or mechanical also what size clutch do they use is it a 220mm or 240?,

    What do you mean clutch is engine dependant? the speedo sensor is not connected to the abs is it or is it seperate?

    Go on real oem with ya chassis numbers and it will tell what clutch is on it.but what engine is in at present? Yes works off the abs.

    My plan is to swap the bemmer bell housing for the volvo bell housing and have the volvo flywheel restuded to fit the bemmer clutch
