E30 320I 2.0L To 2.5L Conversion

Hi, I am new to this forum. I have just purchased a 1989 E30 320i and was wondering if it's possible to get the crank, pistons and rods from a 325 and replace them with my ones. Obviously the block would need to be bored to 84mm to match and probably the head off a 325 as well due to the larger valves. But is it possible to use this as a stroker kit as the engines are pretty much the same?

Cheers for any help

So you want to change your B20 into a B25/7? As dabs said, Get yourself an entire lump and drop it in. Much cheaper and less work.

Many people have dropped an M52 into my E28 so I wonder if its worth doing it to an E30. A Vanos system does sound nice.....
