118d electrics gone Crazy desperate for help!!

I'm new to this forum and desperate to find a fix for my wife's 118d, that until now has been bomb proof.

she owns a 2004 118d in se spec problems started on way home from a night shift this is whats happened.

- Boot open warning displayed on screen continued to display every few seconds along with the 'bing' noise only when moving

- wipers start and stop on their own and stop mid cycle

- rev counter and speedo bounce around whilst driving

- passenger window drops sometimes

- radio changes station itself

- general control module (I think) is clicking about or maybe a relay?

 

I don't think it ever had a battery in four years we have owned it,

Drives fine no loss of power

 

Any help much apprecited im desperate and we really need to use the car but now scared to use in case it breaks down on us.
