Alpine Audio upgrade

So all you changed was the stock head unit for an Alpine one and a massive improvement in sound quality? No other amps/subs etc?

Errr no, the bmw supplied audio unit remains in place, they fit a new amp, upgrade mid range speakers , add tweeters and sub woofers under the seat. Its a std upgrade and i got my local bmw dealer to do it. Most of the Music i listen to is from ipod/iphone or on dab radio so no need to upgrade the bmw audio unit.
