Hi all,

Im new to the forum and new to BMW's in general..!

I have a 318i 2.0l (LPG CONVERTED) convertible and recently it had the water pipe come off and soak the engine, since then i had to replace a couple of coils, thought i blew the engine lol running on 2 cyclinders.!

BUT now, i have got a rough idle only started a day or so ago, its really bugging me any ideas??

also i seem to have a massive vacume of sucking pressure in my oil cap, i can hardly move it to see the oil, when running is this how it should be??

Most of all, i have no error codes and the eml light is NOT on either!


Sorry for the NOOBY questions, but i just want to make sure im doing the right things..!

    Those symptoms are typical of a blocked breather pipe/system so it willl need cleaning out
