I've just bought a 57 plate 120d, I'm more than happy with it and had one before.

When I put my foot down in a left hand bend the car really tries to lose control. I feel a little wobble. Feels like the rear back suspension..... Also when I put my foot down in a straight line and hit slight bumps in the road it feels like the back bounces and the orange traction light flashes......

I bought the car at a good price and I don't mind spending a little to correct it. I just prefer to know if you guys know what it could be?????

I don't want a garage making it up and charging me a fortune.........

Thanks

Replace the suspension bushes... Polys if you can afford it ;)

Ok. Do I do that on both sides and how much should I accept as a fair price .....

Also I've been advised to have the wheels balanced to be sure.... Does this sound about right???

Thanks

Wheels balanced??? Only needed if you have vibration above 50mph...

Always do both sides matey ;)

As for cost, many good kits on ebay

Nope no vibrations so I guess I'm fine there. I've been looking at there are many different bushes..... Rear anti roll then different ones for the diff etch etc etc. which ones am I looking for. Plus even the poly ones look to be around £100 which is no drama

Full kit would work out cheaper than pairs and well worth it if you're keeping the car... Fitted correctly, you wouldn't need to replace again, they'll last 4 or 5 times longer than stock ones ;)

The order I would buy/fit first if I just bought in pairs would be:

Suspension (upper/lower/outer (All basically))

Anti-Roll bar (All)

Diff carrier (All)
