  4. Hi there. I have just bought myself a gorgeous 04 mini Cooper S.. well 6 months ago. and all of a sudden my brake lights intermittently work. Please advise.. I have checked the sensor and it is there, and plugged in okay, and I have cleaned the end of it. just to make sure. But I am yet to look on here to see if anyone else has had this problem? And if so get some ideas. Is it a simple job of getting a replacement part or other thanks in advance for any thoughts and I look forward to having a good ol read over some postings when I get the time. Thanks Jim
