Thanks all, it will be the 320d next - 150 horse and 45 mpg with £155 tax - and a good looking motor to boot I'll be removing the swirl flaps and fitting blanking plates, from what I can work out theyre only there to cut power under traction control - not a biggie! and a vortex breather seems to solve the issue of it getting gunked up! I have seen some cracking examples for £3500 - £4000 lot of car for the money TBH
  2. Hi - thinking of a 320d next looked them up and found the plethora of turbo failure and swirl flap failures filling up the net. Question is, if I buy one and replace the breather and the swirl flaps for blacks will it all but eliminate the problems? thanks
