  1. 35 mm is about spot on, is it just springs or are you going for coilovers?
  2. hi, I have 18" with 225's, no problems
  3. Hi, Look for the normal things really. Leaks, signs of accident damage, calipers cease alot, but there are around £50 each to buy, so no big deal. Coil springs break, so check the condition, these aren't cheap (for springs). Make sure everything that is electric works, if not then haggle. They are also prone to ABS unit faults, which is expensive. I was lucky, my one has had £3000 spent on it in the last year and is as good as they get. 78k on the clock, nice car, could even be tempted to sell it for the right offer, I have had it a couple of weeks and love it, but I am thinking of a Z4 already, this was a dip in the water to see if could live with a 2 seater convertible, and guess what, I can and it's brilliant. Good luck with the search
  4. HI everybody, this is my first time on the forum. I have owned 7 BMW's now, all different types. Haven't had one for a few year, but everytime I get one I remember why I love them so much. I have just bought a 4 pot Z3, 2000 my with 77k on the clock. I am after some parts to make it perfect, but I am sure that I will sort it at some point, but for now I am just going to drive the thing. Has anybody got any advice on owning one, what to watch for, common problems etc. Also, if anybody needs help or advice, please feel free to ask, I doubt there is a BMW issue I haven't had and fixed Until then, all the best Dan
