Finally got it all sorted, down on 2 coils and the fuel gauge was reading quarter of a tank when really it was empty. I guess the sender is knackered.

yes it has mate, took me hours to clean yesterday tho! its a little tatty but a work in progress. cant has now decided it doesnt want to run, cranks over but doesnt fire up. also a work in progress. any help with that bit appreciated. steve

my mums car has been having a few electrical problem, starter motor and fuses etc, since being fixed the car has been very underpowered. to be honest, theres no power at all. weve now been told by an auto electrician that the car has gone into "safe mode". what does this mean and how can we get it sorted without it costing an arm and a leg. any help apreciated thanx
