Bought a 51 plate E39 520i with 106k on the clock and it's got an oil leaks somewhere. Thought it was the rocker cover so changed it but still using lots of oil. Can't see a leak and none on the floor. Occasionally smell burning oil from it hitting the manifold and the amber oil warning light comes on intermittently. The oil level is dropping to be fair.........any ideas? Cheers guys

Evening all, Just bought my first 5 series (owned an E30 325i and E36 318i SE in the past) and I have to say WOW!!! I bought a '51 plate 520i SE with the 2.2 engine, love it! My only gripe is that the steering wheel is enormous! Is it possible/wise to swap it for a more modern one and still have the multi functions work? Thanks John
