thanks steven i feel at ease now i'm on 550 miles now on my first tank of fuel and the fuel light has only just come on im quite impressed i thought it would be far heavier on fuel atb dave

My first proper post,i'm loving my x5 3.0 diesel cracking motor and it seems to be quite economical as ive done 320 miles on this first tank of fuel and its still showing 365 miles range and over half a tank of fuel is this normal or good the only thing i dont like is when i stop at the lights it sometimes seems to lurch a bit as it drops into 1st gear is this normal or something to worry about,so i knock it into neutral just before i stop,it doesn't do it if i brake a bit more firmly but it is a bit annoying now,sorry for the questions so early its only my second post am i just worrying over nothing atb dave

just a quickie to say hello to you all,i've just bought myself an x5 3.0 d sport and i LOVE IT so i thought i'd join a forum to pick all your knowlegeable brains as its a car i've wanted for a while and never got round to owning one, thanks in advance for any help that i'm sure you'll all give me because i'm sure i'll have loads to ask about in a day or so when i've had a chance to play with my new toy atb dave
