  1. both fair suggestions I will have a look at in daylight tomorrow Mr Reaper
  2. OR as I found out today, melts your chocolate bar when the heaters are on!
  3. welcome. You made the right decision, no-one beats German engineering
  4. Hi everyone. I wonder if anyone knows how to remove the upper centre console/lower dash section on an E92? I just bought a 320D and now want to run a hidden power supply cable to my sat nav. which is mounted on top of the dash. I intend soldering the wires to pick up power from the rear of the cigar lighter, as that is a switched live. Then to feed the wire up behind the dash and come out through the vent in the centre on top of the dash. I hate the long trailing wire and power plug etc. getting in the way and general looking unsightly! Any help with removing the ashtray and radio etc would be appreciated. thanks
  5. it opens vents into the cup holder part which vent the whole armrest compartment. Keep your chocolate cool when you've got AC on in the summer!
  6. Thanks guys! I picked the car up this afternoon and did 60 miles cross country on Devon's finest twisty B roads in drizzly rain. She handled beautifully and feels soooo planted compared to my Peugeot 407 that i've been using for work these past 5 months. I even stopped to take a couple of snaps before heading home! Happy days!!! you are invited to check out my website at www.ivormacphotography.co.uk
  7. Welcome buddy, very nice M3 you have. Love the sills, might have to invest in a pair for my 320D Coupe (when I finish paying for the car lol!)
  8. I just wanted to say hello to everyone as I return both here and to BMW, again! In almost 30 years of driving I have owned quite a few different makes of car. Now having considered many options I have reverted back to the best. Tomorrow I take delivery of my third BMW 3 series in the last 6 years. Previously I have had a 2002 318 convertible (nice but underpowered) followed by a 2005 330D saloon (very nice but I lost my job). Last year I drove 21,000 miles including around 14,000 at work, in a 2008 Mitsubishi L200 Animal which I owned for about two years (nice and bouncy!) I anticipate 2014/15 with glee as I will be doing even more work miles, but in much more style and comfort in my 320D Coupe, bring it on, I can't wait! Regards, Maccer :D
