MPG
That's impressive for a 530d. Is the tuning a remap? Bet it goes like a stabbed rat!!

What Made You Buy A Bmw?
Brought my 320d as it was more powerful, faster, drives better, is more economical, and cheaper to tax than any of the other cars I looked at, (Audi, VW, volvo). And it's reliable and well built :)

New Owner Of 330D From Cumbria
Enjoy it. Can't moan with 35 considering its a new engine. My dad's XF struggled to get mid 30's when new and that's just a four pot. I love the look of the 3 series estate. Not just good looking for an estate, but good looking full stop.

MPG
My 320d ED gets around 44-50mpg around town and about 67-73mpg on a run.

MPG
That's good for an M3 ha! Guy at work rarely got more than 19mpg from his e46 M3. And bear in mind that the E46 M3 is imo one of the best looking BMW's ever!!!

How Many People Use Higher Performance Diesel?
I use supreme diesel after a service or before a long run and on the odd occasion. I do see a marginal increase in mpg. On a run to the Lake District I averaged 70mpg. I usually average 67-8 when on normal diesel. It's diesel with additives to clean the engine like fuel injectors etc... Not worth using it on a regular basis tho.

Looks sweet .!! Wish I could afford a upgrade to a F30 335d saloon. Will be interesting what sort of mpg you get when the engines bedded in. They've got impressive stated figures for the size engine and performance.

May be worth having a look at remapping. That will increase performance and can increase mpg. Theres plenty of mapping companies out there.

Diesel Additives
The independent BMW specialist by me sell Forte fuel/engine additive. It seems to have a fairly good reputation / reviews. It costs about £10-15 on amazon. I just use Shell V-power diesel as it's basically diesel with the additive already added. I buy it regularly now the prices have been dropping. I find it slightly increases mpg and it says that it cleans engine components such as the fuel injectors. Theres no harm from what i can see in using fuel additives with a BMW. Or just put some supreme diesel in. I always use either Esso or shell for my fuel. Just personal preference. Don't like going to supermarket petrol stations.

320D Ed Re-Map
I do brim to brim if I can. Used some Shell v-power diesel and got 70mpg when I went to the Lake District and that's not driving behind a lorry at 56mph. Found my self driving between 70+ mph ;) Accelerating gently downhill and easing the car uphill with the cruise control on the flat. The obc was reading 71.2mpg so not that far off really. Iv found the OBC readings fairly accurate.

Scuff Repair
Hello fellow members. I am in need of some advice. I was driving home tonight in my new 320d. Took me 2 years to save for this thing and coming home tonight I scuffed the underside of the skirt. I was coming around an island when a pathetic 1Series came speeding towards it. It slammed the brakes on and I panicked and swerved and the car mounted the foot high kirb on the island. I have a lovely scuff the entire length of the skirt. :'( Any advice of how I can get it looking like new again. Thank you Kind regards..

320D Ed Re-Map
Hi People New to these forums  Brought myself a E90 320d ED a month ago. Must say I am impressed so far, as I'm getting about 55-60mpg going into birmingham every day for college, and in comfort and luxury compared to my old 1.2l Clio (good riddance to it). Wanted to know whether it would be worth getting a Diesel tuning box, or a re-map? Would this improve my mpg and power? Or is it not worth it as I heard it can damage the DPF? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, Im 20 and this is my first BMW so I'm in need of some guidance !! Thanks Guys :)
