Usually that noise only happens at stArt up or within 15-20 minutes of use. You will hear a rough ticking flappy noise occasionally regardless of how warm it is Lee

Hi All First time owner - previously coming from Civic Type-R Ep3/ Mondeo ST 220/ french poo Megane r26. didnt really want my first post to be a question related to a problem. Thought I would post here first as this was the very forum that lead me to buying a bmw 130 in the first instance. (thats a lie, it was this and another 2 forums).. hopefully get round to contributing and sharing some useless fluff that takes up everyones time in the future! moving on... It sounds like a belt/pulley/tensioner problem but listen to this video...what are your thoughts. http://s267.photobucket.com/user/linepulse/library/1annabee30 mainly happens when starting up, occasionally happens after starting up and driving for 10 minutes if that. During that noise, should I try to accelerate it feels like something is dragging it back.... currently at 62k, service due next month. 55 plate. Lee. :rolleyes:
