    thanks mate, however this is beyond my knowledge. I was hoping someone may have experienced this and could point me in the right direction before i have to take it to a dealer. Anyone else got some thoughts.

    Hi all, i am the owner of a 2002 X5 deisel and it has just put up the self levelling suspension inactive light on the dash warning panel. I have tried turning the car off and on a few times but it allways returns and wont go off. Can anyone suggest what the problem may be- the car still seems to drive fine. Any help would be much appreciated, john. (cockney1)
