    Flickering Comp Screen/no Indicator On Dash

    SJW1967 posted a topic in The Owners Club General Discussions
    When lights are on, computer screen and dash flickers. Also intermittent loss of indicators on dash although working on outside of car. Also, started other day, asked for code. Input four zeros and started again. Had water come in near mirror a couple of times too (no sunroof). Any ideas? Thanks.

    Hi All X5 wouldn't start, error message TRANS.FAILSAFE PROG. Been told possibly battery so taken off to charge, but now can't get tail gate open to fit battery back in? Thanks!

    Hi All Have a 2004 X5, was coming out of a turning when power steering went "stiff" and battery light flashed on, then off after about 10 seconds, managed to drive home normally after battery light disappeared but it Happened again when I went out again later so haven't used it since. Googled, seems like serpentine belt is possibility? Any ideas? How easy to replace, and cost? Husband quite handy with cars so could have a got if parts cheap enough. Thanks!! SJW1967
