im in yorkshire so i hope it is cheaper up north:). Iv been quoted "about 100 quid" by my local garage. They did a full engine rebuild on my 02 impreza sti last year and did a good job so i trust them. Does price sound about right at that? Cheers guys

my 99 523i manual averages 32 which aint bad for a 2.5

does anyone know how much it will cost to have my rear wheel bearing fixed including parts and labour?

i have for sale a set of 2 front seats and the rear bench seat complete with all 5 headrests. It is cream leather and electricaly operated in very good condition. I am open to cash offers or will px for e39 parts. This will fit any e39 5 series. Even cars with manual seats have the wiring fitted so is an exellent upgrade. Thanks, dave

for sale. A set of genuine 17 inch 5 spoke bmw e39 wheels. The rears are made to appear wide than the fronts. They have mint (nearly new) 235/45/17 admiral sport tyres all round.There are 5 in total. Im selling as im after some 18 or 19 inch wheels so may p/x. Or 300 for cash. These are very nice wheels in good condition with exellent tyres, set of 5. Thanks

iv had my e39 for about 3 weeks now and love the car. Its a 523i manual so performance is great having just come out of a 2002 impreza sti, but a great car to drive. My only reservation is that the manual box feels very notchy. It engages all gears fine and works 100% but it just dosnt feel smooth at all. Is this normal. Thanks for any replys. Iv only just signed to this site so any help is appreciated. Dave.
