Hi all, I'm new to this forum but by no means to BMW. I've owned 3's 5's and even a monster 735i SE in black. I'm fairly handy with the spanners and have dabbled in the black art of diagnostics too! Besides my BMWs I also own a '66 Series 2a Land Rover that I restored from chassis up and a '83 Porsche 924. I've joined up to help where I can, generally have a nose about, and no doubt at some stage ask some dumb questions too. Brian

I've done this with the only special tool being a £10 blowtorch, heat it up, stick a big socket underneath the bush, stand on the beam and out it pops!
