  1. Hi there. I just want to pass on a little good fortune that I had some time ago.
Allbeit not a BMW fault the company which came to the rescue whilst saving me a packet also do work for most other makes of vehicle (BMW included).
My wife has a mercedes A140 which had a problem known to the model.
The MAF sensor on this car is actually part of the ECU and to rectify the fault, Mercedes Benz charge in excess of £1500.00 with a 1 year warranty.
I took the ECU off my wifes car and took it to ECU testing who rebuilt the ecu. Not only did they give a professional service in a well equipped workshop but they did the work for a total (including vat) £179.00 and even better, it was returned with a lifetime unlimited warranty which they do honour.
I thought there was a problem and they took it back, tested it to find no faults and charged me nothing. It sounds too good to be true, but they are totally comitted to providing superb service and are excellent value for money.
The company is called ECU Testing.com. they are based in Heanor near Derby. www.ecutesting.com is the web address and the phone number is 01773 535638.
