thanks Jack. I input the BMW code but that does not work with all phones. I'll call BMW to see if they can update the software in the car but doubt it or it will cost £££££££££££££

I have a 54 plate X5 and at present BMW can give me no list of what mobile phones can and can't pair with my car. some modern ones do and some don't but without a confirmed list I am buying a new expensive mobile blind. I have tried 2 new Nokia Lumia's (610 & 800) but neither pair. I have been told iPhones pair. can anyone tell me if most Samsung pair as my current Galaxi Mini does but I need a better business mobile so thinking of the Galaxi SIII etc. Any help appreciated thanks
