Menbehavingbadly

Good morning all! I've got an early series one E23 and one of the rear windows mechanisms is playing up. The gear wheel inside the transfer box that operate the regulator has stripped, probably as a result of the glass jamming after years of inactivity. I have generously been given a couple of regulators from later cars which are different, but wonder if anyone here has a unit like this lying around or tell me what else it might be used on. I've searched a well known Internet auction site for E3, E24 and E12 models, it's a Bosch unit and carries a part number 0 130 820 029 and the words 'brose coburg'. Any ideas? Many thanks, Jonathan

Dear M Force, Good to hear an early car is being restored. If its of any use, my buddy Robert who you can contact via [email protected] had a lot of E23 parts from a 1980 745 that was too far gone rust wise to restore. He's even got a blue leather interior.
