    Hello all, Just to introduce myself as a new member to this forum. I've just bought a 2010 Mini ONE (basic spec) so that my daughter can learn to drive as soon as she's 17 and it will eventually become hers. We opted for the most basic spec and steel wheels to keep costs low and to hopefully keep insurance reasonably low, but without resorting to the Mini FIRST as I will also be using the Mini as a backup car and I need a bit of oomph for motorway cruising. On the whole, very pleased with the Mini. Bought from Mini Stockport with 22k on the clock and one owner. It is in perfect condition and looks brand new, inside and out. First reaction is that its a great drive but a surprising amount of road noise, but then my normal car is a LR Discovery 3 auto so the comparison is probably unfair. Cheers, Critchogs
