  1. got the problem sorted the proplem was comeing back to dsc control unit got that fixed and every things fine now
  2. thanks for the helpi got the car sorted today i got the lights turn off at a local garage i sent the dsc control unit off to remans in kent which cost £120 to fix it and then i but it back on and the garage reprogramed it and turn the lights for £45 so in total it cost £165.00 not bad considering another bmw garage was going to charge me £900 for a new dsc control unit and another £200 for takeing and puting it back on and reprograming it so if anyone else has this problem with code 81 fix it your selt then get it reprogramed it took me 20 mins to take off and the same to put back on hope this help
  3. hi i got stuck in the snow the other day and found that the front wheels on my 2001 4.4 v8 x5 was not driving it was just in rear wheel drive which when i got pulled out was a bit more fun sliding the rear end out does any one know my it has done this cheers

  5. hi my x5 4.4 2001 went for mot and failed on the abs light as it does not go out it came back to the dsc unit and i have it repaired and the lights are still on there is a fault code 81 pressure line circuit does any one know what this is cheers wayne
