    Thank you for the advice Steve an thanks Synpa. I brought home my car yesterday. half way through the tyre pressure warning lights come on. They are run flat tyres and they look alright. I wont be able to do anything until saturday. Any advice on this? should I take it to a mechanic or Can it be sorted?

    Hi, I am in the process of buying a used BMW (325i SE Cabriolet Highline [2009]) and I am bit worried about the maintainance cost that I might incur in the event of a breakdown or a mechanical/electrical failure. I am buying it through car giant and they have offered me a AA warranty of a little more than 1K for 3 years. I have read horror stories about this insurance, how they try not to pay you in such dreadful events. Should I still go ahead with this? or are there any other better warranties out there that are more reliable. Is there any approved BMW used car warranties? This will be my first BMW so any help would be appreciated. Regards, MK
