    Ok thank Gav I've had a look and going from the I have seen I'll get them removed when I get the car.. Will I have to get it blanked off or anything?... can it be done by my local mechanic or does it have to go into a specialist?.. It may all sound like silly questions but I am NEW to the BMW world so any info and advice would be much appreciated. Thank you.

    Hello all, I am looking to buy a E46 320D early next year and I have read that a few of the owners have had the Swirl flaps removed I was just wondering what advantage this has?... :wacko: I am new to the BMW world so any info not only regarding this would be appreciated!!..
