hi there hope someone can help me? i have a mini one, she's a 51plate i've had her for 3 and a half years, so far she's had a new head gasket (went on the a1!) a new radiator, new clutch, some pipe things to do with the gear box, the hose from the power steering, new disks and she's gone through 8 tyres! the problems i'm having with her now are with the gear box, when i first start her up she's very difficult to get into first and second gear it eases up after a couple of miles but she does this if it's cold and if it's warm, she'a always difficult to get into reverse. she's also very heavy on petrol she's only getting 23 miles to the gallon, i'm sure she was better than that when i first got her (she does 46 mile round trip 5 days a week on the A17 it's a single track road with a very steep hill) my brother mentioned remapping the engine but said i should go on a mini form to see if any one had any suggestions? can anyone help? :unsure:
