Just an up date on my issue with my E30, had to replace the battery on the car about four weeks ago due to the weather, I thought this may have solved the sudden cutting out problem but nearly four weeks to the day it cut out again after I restarted it on the petrol station forecourt, it did it at the pumps, so I pulled away and parked up, left it idling, it cut out 5 times, after each time I'd Leave it 30seconds and it would fire up straight away each time, after idling consistently for 5mins straight I drove it home with out fault, it's doing my melon in now,, any help is greatly received.

I have a green light flash up on my E30 when it cuts out (i think its a coil/ignition issue) it is to the left me the service indicator lights, it comes on before I start the car and like I say when it cuts out and restarts itself. No other lights come on at all, its mad any help is appreciated.

Hi all, i have just purchased an 89F E30 325i Sport, its my third Bavarian motor, previously had E30 325i Cabriolet and E36 328i Sport, looking forward to picking many of your brains with my project. :D
