Hi all, I am currently searching for a 325i E30 Convertible to buy! I have found one but I'm not too keen on the colour. It seems fairly priced and it's in good condition. The only thing putting me off is the colour. Can anybody recommend me a bodyshop for a decent and reasonably priced re spray? I'm in the north west but the location doesnt matter too much as i dont mind travelling to get a good job done. Also what sort of cost am I looking at? The car I have found is red and I am after getting in re sprayed either Burgundy or a colour similar to Lachs Silver. Any help would be appreciated guys! Thanks!

Thanks guys and girls! Nothing is worrying me really just wanted to know any common problems that are going to cost me a lot of money in the future! I know that the car I am going to be viewing has just had a new roof fitted and it has done around 130k miles. Really I am just after some mechanical pointers as I'm not familiar with BMW engines! Finally seen the light after 5 years owning a Renaultsport Clio lol Thanks

HI everyone, I have only just joined the forum and I'm looking for a bit of advice. I am going to be buying my first BMW soon and have singled out a 1987 325i Convertible. I will be going to view it in the next week or so. I have read the buyers guides etc on here but wondering if there is anyone out there with a similar model who could give me a few pointers on what to look out for, (leaky roof etc). Any help or pointers would be appreciated. Thanks!!
