    Fitting A Paddle Shift Wheel?

    I have just bought a 2007 E70 X5 4.8iSE and am enjoying the car. In previous cars i have had the steering wheel mounted paddle shift which was very useful. I believe the 4.8 Sport version had paddle shift. Does anyone know what would be involved in swapping my current wheel to one with paddles? is the wiring for the paddleshift already in the car to attach if i get a wheel from a 'sport'. Any advice much appreciated Ian
