Hi all I recently bought a 530D 2004 auto, is it me or am I getting really bad MPG, about 23 average. I'm driving like an old man, most is around town but been driving to work and setting the journey comp, it' says I am getting 21.5 on a 7 mile run mainly a dual carriageway. Recently changed the filter, any ideas and what do u get please help Alex

Hi I'm new here and purchased my 1st BMW 2 weeks ago, I love it but a bit worried about the low mpg, I've been driving it normal if anything like an old man lol. It's a 530d 2004 and I'm only getting 22mpg. Most driving is around town. Is this normal? Cheers alex

Hi i posted earlier, finally picked up my 5 series I love it. Next question is it worth remapping? Does it really improve mpg aswell? I was thinking of a tuning box, any advice would b much appreciated

Thanks, does the price seem right? Im getting it for £5750. When would there be excessive smoke? Only thing putting me off is the mileage. But I've heard they go forever. Cheer for reply Alex
