    Help with my wipers please. Moslty they work well but every now and then-when it's raining of course-they park themselves and stop working. No amount of of wiggling the stalk helps nor does twiddling the fuse and I have no choice but to squint through an increasingly obscured windsceen for about 5-8 minutes then the wipers start working again. The rear wiper is not affected by this shennigans. My E39 540 Touring enjoys 'automatic' wipers when they work! I dread wet days, and we are seeing nothing but at the moment. Please help.

    I tow a motorcycle trailer with my 4.4 V8 no problem at all! wouldn't see a problem with a large caravan either but not for me! :rolleyes:
