  1. Anyone carried out any mods to their Z3 that they would like to share? In the throws of updating my Zed and need some ideas and inspiration....
  2. A Faraday pouch is ideal in ensuring the key fob doesn't transmit a signal once you have walked away from it....cheap to buy but bear in mind it won't be secure unless it is in the pouch and sealed (acting as a Faraday cage).
  3. I'm not sure that spraying WD40 will do much, except for the sensor connections which may have some corrosion on them. I replaced the rear sensor on my Z3 for a grand total of £13.86 and it did the trick after a reset and short drive. I was able to scope it and measure resistance to ensure it definitely was U/S and then purchased a replacement....didn't want to spend even this small amount unless I was sure it definitely was faulty. If you can measure your sensors then if open circuit, replace it.
  4. Looks like you've got the forum section to yourself Jay 🙂 Feel free to populate it as you wish, either listing your mods or a review of how you're finding the 440. I'm sure if there is some more content on here then the lurkers will join in with the conversation. Over to you !
  5. Hi Jay....welcome to the Club Would love to see the mods unfold as and when you do them. I always believe that Bimmers are one of the best cars to mod, either small mods such as grilles or full-on performance mods. Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor
  6. Hi Sam Had a similar incident with my Bimmer recently, but put it down to coincidence as it had also been laid up for some time. However, I would be tempted to reset the battery and take it for a drive to allow everything to settle back in....if still has codes then (after clearing codes) then it would require further investigation. Let us know how you get on with it
