thanks for that but the key fob only has one button, and i replaced the batterys strait away as recomended cheers mark t

hi ive recently bought a bmw 316 its a oldish one p reg,the only problem ime having up to now is locking- unlocking it using the key fob it was fine when i got it,but only the day after it stoped working. the key fob is ok new batterys and lights up when you press the button, but will not opperate the central locking or the alarm and the little red light inside the car dose not flash anymore its off all the time any advice would be appriciated. thanks mark t
