    Help My E34! Please

    Hi guys, ive recently bought a 525tds and the temp goes up to half, the fan kicks in then it drops to a quart, then back up to half and so on. It never goes over half and runs fine, this happens regardless of traffic and driving conditions. The heater is fine and it has FSH last one only 4k ago, im a bit nervous as i know they are prone to coolant system probs. Is this normal as ive never had this on any other car inc previous 3 series :(
